Viva Mexico!

Last September, Kaya and I went to Rosarito Beach, Mexico and had a lot of fun. Except, she was swimming in my belly and I was swimming in the ocean. This year, she got to swim with me instead of inside me.

It was her first international adventure!
We drove down with Grandma Kim and Auntiebom Amy.
While we were there we got to spend time with great-Grandma & great-Grandpa and great-Uncle Kirk.
They couldn't believe how big Kaya has gotten (or how darn cute she looked in her beachwear).

We had a great room with a gorgeous view and we spent 4 days relaxing, swimming and eating.
The girl and I had lots of fun.

Kaya's 1st Fourth of July

Kaya got all dressed up in her red, white and blue for her 1st Fourth of July.

She was very excited to see her best friend, Emilly. We all miss her so much already!
One of the best parts about living in Burbank was our next door neighbors- Nano, Raffi and Emilly. We're so sad not to have them 10 feet away at all times but we were very happy that they came to BBQ and watch fireworks with us today.
Everyone had fun. (Look! We caught Papa smiling!)
When it got dark we walked down to the beach to watch the fireworks display over the Queen Mary. Kaya fell asleep!

LBC

We have officially moved to Long Beach and we are loving it! Kaya has her cousins around to play with all the time now and Grandma & Grandpa close by, too.

We live a block and a half from the beach and we have gone there to play and take nice, long walks almost everyday since we got here.

Last weekend, Kaya and Papa even flew a kite.

Kaya loves being outside, especially people watching at the beach. The only hard part about the move is that now Kaya has to sleep in her own bedroom and she isn't too happy about that so we haven't gotten much sleep. In other news, Miss Holiday can now sit up all by herself. Go, girl.
